Battery Cabinet for Rack UPS
42U 600 × 1,000, Six Heavy Trays (VRLA / Li-ion), Vented, Locked
Sheet-metal infrastructure around the racks: aisle containment frames and doors, raised-access-floor pedestal kits, perforated airflow tiles, cooling-unit stands and rear-door heat-exchanger frames.

Data halls need more than racks. Aisle containment frames bolt to the tops of two facing rack rows and close the aisle so cold and hot air do not mix. Raised-floor pedestal and stringer kits, perforated tiles and cooling-unit stands complete the floor. Rear-door heat-exchanger frames carry the coil on the back of a rack, and battery cabinets keep UPS batteries safe and ventilated.

It separates the cold air supplied to equipment from the hot air it exhausts, by closing the aisle between two rows of racks with a frame, roof panels and doors. It reduces cooling energy.
