Fabrication questions
What do I need to send for a quotation?
A drawing (PDF, DXF, DWG or STEP) or a sample, the material and thickness, finish, quantity and delivery place. If you only have an idea, describe it and we help turn it into a drawing.
What materials do you work with?
Galvanised (GI) sheet, CRCA, mild steel, stainless steel (304 and 316) and aluminium, in the thicknesses your drawing needs; we confirm suitability for each job.
Do you make one-off prototypes?
Yes. Prototype, small batch and repeat orders are all welcome. We make a first article for your approval before repeat lots.
Can you finish and assemble the parts?
Yes. We powder-coat, fit hinges, locks, gaskets and other hardware to your bill of materials, and pack for dispatch.
How do you control quality?
We review the drawing before manufacture, agree an inspection plan with you for each order and approve a first article before repeat lots. Documents are agreed per order.
What is the lead time?
It depends on the part, quantity and finish. We state the lead time in the quotation.
