When the product needs more than sheet metal
Some products need approvals, tests or qualifications that belong to the programme, not to the fabricator. We review these with you one by one.
How we handle them
The product library lists products that we make to order as sheet-metal and tube-steel fabrications. A few products in some industries need more: approvals from a regulator, a type test, a certified design or a qualified process. We do not list those as catalogue items.
If you have the design and the approvals, send us the drawing, the material specification and the quality plan. We review it, say plainly what we can fabricate and what you supply, and quote the part.
Questions
Which products are not in the product library?
Products that need approvals, certifications or specialised qualification beyond sheet-metal fabrication, such as certified safety, pressure, flight or explosion-protected equipment, are not offered as catalogue items.
Can you still make the metalwork for such a product?
Often yes. If you hold the design and the approvals, we can fabricate the metalwork to your drawing and your quality plan. Send the drawing and the specification, and we tell you plainly whether we can.
Why not list them?
A catalogue entry would imply that the product is ready to buy with its approvals. We prefer to review each programme with you.
